ISLAMABAD: Dissident meeting members of Pakistan
Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have submitted their written replies to the Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) in a reference in search of their disqualification.
The ECP held a listening to on the disqualification reference of dissident members of the Nationwide Meeting. A 3-member bench headed by the Chief
Election Fee Sikandar Sultan Raja heard the case.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf lawyer Faisal Chaudhry took a stand to reply and requested for extra materials within the case, to which the Chief Election Commissioner questioned whether or not the fabric was not connected with the reference.
Faisal Chaudhry stated that no reply has been submitted by Amir Liaquat, now the fee is a tribunal, how can it operate with out proof.
The counsel for the dissident members objected to additional materials and provided to determine on the admissibility of the reference first.
The PTI lawyer additional stated that the declaration of MNAs is separate, MNAs joined one other celebration, give me an opportunity to current materials. “I’m presenting all public paperwork,” he added.
When the Chief Election Fee requested the rationale for not submitting proof with reference, Faisal Chaudhry stated that the proof was not for
